How Paypal Hacks Work?

Paypal, a company who also owns e-Bay, is an international digital wallet based e-commerce business allowing payments and money transfers to be made through the Internet. It has been round for several years and has established itself as a leader in online shopping transactions and money transfers. However, as early as in the year 2012, Paypal exploits and hacking tools have been mushrooming in the internet left and right and this is still happening up until today. How did this happen? Read on and find out how. (Disclaimer: the Paypal hack developers didn't discuss their techniques in detail to keep Paypal from finding out and fixing the loopholes, of course). Convicted NASA hacker Razvan Cernaianu, also known as TinKode actually gave the media (and Paypal, at that) information on how one of the hacks work. According to Razvan, you don't need to be an accomplished hacker to double your Paypal funds. All you need are three Paypal accounts. The first on the first account, you will act as a legit buyer, the second account, act as a disposable seller while the third account will act as a mule. The basic premise for this process is you will be transferring funds to one of these Paypal accounts, pretending to buy something and at the end of the day, you get to double your money because of a loophole that Paypal has in their charge back process. Paypal has actually even admitted to this loophole and said that it is possible; however, the latter has warned that any user who abuses this will be banned permanently by Paypal. Another website that offers Paypal hacking tool also gives a bit of explanation on how they do this. Again, they based it on a Paypal loophole that one of their programmers found and exploited but it's more on the refund system of Paypal this time. Again they didn't share the nitty-gritty details of the software but they give the assurance that Paypal will not ban you. Hacking via USB method This is another way of a hacker getting into someone else's Facebook account, but this only works when the hacker has physical access to the victim's device. All he needs to do is to insert a USB device which contains software that extracts passwords that are being used on that particular device. Smart phone hacking A lot of Facebook users (including yours truly) exclusively access their Facebook accounts via their smart phones, thinking that since they are the ones only using their phones, no one would be able to hack into their profiles. This notion could never be more wrong. Hacking via unsecured Facebook sessions This is also known as session hijacking. This is very common and very dangerous on LAN and WiFi connections, where Facebook accounts are accessed using http:// or unsecured connections. What happens is, the defrauder takes the person's browser cookie, which is used to authenticate the user on a website, and use it to access the victims account. Some of these methods are costly but some methods, though unfamiliar, can just be further researched online, so if you are seriously considering hacking another person's FB account, make sure to know what you're doing and consider the consequences.
